Screenplay
Scene1
Titles sequence starts with the song “Somebody to Love” by “Jefferson Airplane”.
When the truth is found to be lies
And all the joy within you dies
Don’t you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
When the garden's flowers, baby, are dead
Yes, and your mind, your mind is so full of red
Don’t you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
Your eyes, I say your eyes may look like his
Yeah but in your head, baby
I'm afraid you don't know where it is
Don’t you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
Tears are running, they're all running down your breast
And your friends, baby, they treat you like a guest
Don’t you want somebody to love
Don't you need somebody to love
Wouldn't you love somebody to love
You better find somebody to love
The teacher throws a chalk at Vishal.
Scene2
Vishal comes to reality.
Teacher: (shouts) stand up!
Vishal stands up.
Teacher: (shouts) you’ve have been dreaming again!
Twice I had called out your name you still didn’t respond.
This is the third time I am teaching you the same subject.
Aren’t you ashamed of yourself that all of your friends have gone ahead in their semesters and you are still lagging behind!
(Pause) are you not interested in engineering?
(Pause) get out of my class and find another lecturer to teach you this subject or leave this college!
Vishal is shocked and thinks about what to do now. Then he remembers some famous musicians. Vishal smiles and then looks at the teacher with a serious face.
Vishal: You’re right sir!
I quit!
Vishal packs his bag, goes out of the bench, leaves the classroom and closes the door in the end. While Vishal walks away from the classroom he remembers one incident with his ex-girlfriend.
Scene3
Vishal and his ex-girlfriend are walking on the street.
Vishal: Don’t you trust me anymore?
EGF: No, it’s nothing like that!
I trust you but (pause) you are different.
Vishal: That’s not a good reason for breaking up with me!
EGF: That’s not what I’m saying.
I’ve been your girlfriend for the past 3 years and I know how you are.
Your passion is music and you don’t deserve me!
I want someone who would be there for me and you are not that guy.
But it doesn’t mean that we cannot be friends.
I want you to follow your dream!
Vishal: It’s not that easy!
EGF: (firm) it is never easy!
You’ve always been a coward but one day there will be someone who would push you to the limit.
And on that day you should not cry out to your loved ones because that’s the day you would realize that you are finally free!
In the next scene Vishal smiles and walks out of the college. Title of the movie appears and then the credits.
